South African woman Kuku Moloko claims she was born in 1874, and she’s got an official birth certificate to prove it. That’s the same year Winston Churchill and Harry Houdini were born, just to give you some reference points.

The oldest scientifically-verified person to ever live was 122-year-old Frenchwoman Jeanne Calment, who met Vincent Van Gogh, took up fencing at age 85, biked until she was 100, smoked until she was 117, and ate two pounds of chocolate every week. So let that be a lesson. Wait.
