Chicago is getting quite cold, but other than a few snowflakes last weekend, has yet to get precipitous. I’m tutoring high school kids a few days a week at a beautiful old school on the North Side, one of those looming, gothic buildings like the schools you see in movies and tv shows.. The kids are smart and agreeable, which makes the job fulfilling. I still need more work to cover my expenses, so hopefully something will turn up this week. Chicago is, amongst other things, expensive.
