Apparently, there is a city in Turkey named Batman, and its mayor is suing the makers of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight because they used the name ‘Batman’ without permission.
“There is only one Batman in the world,” Mayor Kalkan claims.
He goes on to blame The Dark Knight for “a number of unsolved murders and a high female suicide rate” in his city. To which I say, bwaaaaaah?
